Opening ceremony

There will be a ‘Grand Opening’ by the Mayor of Southampton, Cllr Elizabeth Mizon at 11.00am on Saturday 21 November. The opening will feature a performance from a traditional German Band and a special appearance from the Town Crier.

Saturday 5th December will have the opening of Santa's Grotto

Ho, Ho, Ho and Hello Children ! Santa has recently arrived in Southampton and is waiting to welcome you to his beautiful Grotto. He will appear on selected dates ( as below ) and is located within the Southampton German Christmas Market at the northern end of the pedestrianised sector of Above Bar Street between the German Haribo Sweets Stall and the Flower Seller ( approx 100 yards from the principal entrance to West Quay Shopping Centre).
